Christen is the founder and executive director of Treehouse Therapies. She has 22 years of experience as a pediatric physical therapist. She has worked in various treatment settings, including private practice, hospital, home, and school settings. She also has experience with aquatic and hippotherapy. Christen earned a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from Portland State University, Portland, Oregon. She continues to actively participate in continuing education workshops and trainings. Some of the trainings she has completed include; Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach to Baby Treatment, Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach in a School Setting, Pediatric NDT Gait, Neurotheraputic and Sensory Techniques for the Special Needs Client, Brain Development in Early Childhood, Concepts and Guidelines in Baby Treatment, as well as specialized courses in idiopathic toe walking and the treatment of torticollis and plagiocephaly. Stacey Briscoe, MSOTR/L Director of Rehabilitation
Stacey Briscoe is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2006 after receiving her Bachelors in Child Psychology. Since then, the majority of her career has been focused on working with children with disabilities. She has extensive experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional disorders and sensory processing difficulties. She also has a passion for identifying and addressing visual processing and ocular-motor deficiencies. In 2022, she joined the administration team in the role of Director of Rehab Services. She is excited to help build more programming for our growing community, while working to ensure that Treehouse provides the most comprehensive and individualized care for each of our clients. Stacey moved to Redmond in 2018, after living in the suburbs of Chicago for over 10 years. She joined Treehouse Therapies in the spring of 2019. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, photography, and usually has a few art projects in the works.

Chelsea Ramsey, LPC Director of Behavioral Health
Chelsea is a parent and professional who’s life and education has been driven by her passion to help families and children like hers. She grew up in Central Oregon and understands the challenges that families face when attempting to find resources for their children in the High Desert. As a former Head Start teacher who is married to an Iraq War veteran and mother to three children who have unique challenges, she used her experiences inside the classroom and out with children who displayed explosive behavior patterns to co-found Wyldwoodz Resource Center. After 6 years of work with children and families in Central Oregon as a peer support mentor and behavioral specialist, she went back to school and obtained her Master’s in Counseling from Oregon State University in 2019. She uses her unique perspective as an educator and a parent as well as her background in therapeutic techniques and Collaborative Problem Solving to help kids and families build the skills they need to meet the demands of the world around them. Her driving belief is that kids and parents do well when they CAN rather than when they want to and works to help kids and families understand skill deficits and skill building across different settings. Her experience encompasses not only explosive behavior patterns, but children and families who are experiencing PTSD, Anxiety, adjustment and the unique challenges a child faces when dealing with a chronic, life altering illness.In her free time, Chelsea can be found riding horses, camping, gardening or just spending time with her family both furry/scaley and human.

Lori has worked with children in various settings all of her life. She fell in love with physical therapy while working as an administrator for a local physical therapy company. Treehouse Therapies has allowed her to combine her two passions. She earned her Bachelors of Science at The University of Oregon and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Montana. Lori has worked with clients all ages in a school, clinic and home setting. She enjoys helping her clients reach their full potential and helping families reach their goals. She is an enthusiastic team player who loves working with other disciplines to give each child a team approach to care. A Bend, OR native, Lori has enjoyed returning to her hometown, where she loves trail running and exploring the great outdoors. She loves spending her free time with her new baby, family and friends.

Kyle graduated from Idaho State University in May of 2020 with his doctorate of physical therapy where he began his physical therapy career working with kids in a small location in Twin Falls, Idaho. He has experience working with kids of all ages, older adults, and those with complex diagnosis as well as spending time working at the school for the deaf and blind. He also worked in Texas as a travel therapist, primarily working on military personnel. After a brief stint of work away from kids, Kyle realized how much he missed the work and bonding with families and working to achieve goals with the kids. He is passionate about a more holistic approach to therapy services, and seeing what can benefit both in home and at the therapy setting. He has worked in aquatic, hippo therapy, and adaptive climbing setting with kids. In his free time, Kyle enjoys writing, hiking, kayaking, and exercising.

Originally from San Juan, Argentina, Eugenia completed her Bachelor’s Degree In Kinesiology and Physiology at the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. She went on to validate her Physical Therapy Degree and certification to work in the USA. Eugenia realized her passion for pediatrics while working at the Children’s Hospital in Cordoba. There she was trained to work in respiratory, neurology and orthopedic care. Her treatment approach is very hands-on, holistic, and she loves to help her patients and families achieve their goals. She has recently been certified as a bilingual interpreter and she is looking forward to helping the Latino community as well.
In her free time Eugenia enjoys live music, climbing, biking, and traveling with her husband, three kids, and brown lab, Kala.

Jenna has her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University. Jenna is a board certified Physical Therapist and a Kinesio Tape Practitioner. Jenna went into PT with a desire to work with elite athletes, however fell in love with the pediatric population, and hasn't looked back. She has been working as a pediatric PT since 2012. She is passionate about helping children achieve their maximum potential in a fun and interactive way. She has worked in a variety of settings including home health, hospitals, clinics, private practice, gymnastic gyms, aquatic therapy, and hippotherapy. In her personal life, Jenna loves everything outdoors: waterskiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, camping, hiking, and recently learning to surf the river wave. She is a wife to an amazing husband and mom to two spirited and wonderful children.

She began her physical therapy career working with kids in a small location in Pendleton, OR at St. Anthony’s Hospital. During her time in graduate school, she also had clinical rotations at Shriner’s Hospitals for Children and Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She has experience working with all ages, from infants to elderly adults, as well as a variety of diagnoses ranging from neurological, orthopedic, post-operative, developmental, and more. She was excited to move back to Bend in June 2023 to start working at Treehouse. She offers aquatic therapy services and is looking forward to offering hippotherapy services as soon as November 2024. In her free time, Geena enjoys reading, video games, baking, swing dancing, and volleyball.

Nate earned his Masters of Science in occupational therapy from Towson University in 2018. His primary professional experience is within a nonpublic school setting, working with children/young adults with a range of developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Angelman’s syndrome and sensory processing disorder. Regardless of age/diagnoses, he is passionate about helping his clients expand their skills, interests and confidence through a strengths-based approach to therapy. He is a firm believer in remaining client centered, tailoring therapy to target what is most meaningful to the child and family. Nate and his family moved to his wife’s hometown in Sisters, OR after living in Baltimore, MD for 6 years. While he was born and raised in Maryland, he has adapted quite nicely to the abundance of outdoor activities and sunny weather in Central Oregon. He is a kid at heart, and works hard so that he can play hard. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, mountain biking, chasing his daughter around the park, and spending quality time with his family.

Maggie is originally from Texas and completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas in Biology and Psychology and completed her Masters of OT at Washington University in St. Louis. Since graduating, Maggie has experience in outpatient pediatrics, home health pediatrics and adult care, adaptive equipment and seating/mobility needs, and travel therapy. Her travel job brought her to Oregon in 2022 and she immediately fell in love with the PNW. Within OT, Maggie has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses and challenges, and has particular interest in the dynamics and interconnectedness of mental health and occupational function and needs. She currently is co-developing and leading a BH/OT co-treatment program, ASPEN, with a focus on parent education and family relationships. Brianna Howard, OTD, OTR/L, NTMTC
Brianna Howard graduated from Northern Arizona University in Phoenix, Arizona with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2021. While in OT school, her clinical rotations and research efforts were centered around providing developmentally appropriate care to children and infants, and advancing the field of neurological rehabilitation. Since graduating, Brianna has worked in acute care pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and in inpatient neurological rehabilitation at Barrow Neurological Institute. During undergraduate and graduate school, she worked as a behavioral therapist for 5 years with children with autism, and also as a preschool teacher. She loves working with children because she believes they bring a refreshing, perceptive, and always fun perspective to life. She is passionate about providing holistic, family-centered care to her clients and their families. Brianna just moved to Bend with her husband from Phoenix to escape the heat and embrace the outdoor lifestyle and community of Bend. In her free time, Brianna enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and spending as much time as possible with family, friends, and her mini Australian shepherd!

Sofie grew up in Southern Oregon and developed a passion for working with children, initially as a nanny. In the year 2020, she earned her Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Green River College in Washington and later moved to Idaho to specialize in pediatrics. Sofie has diverse experience working in a variety of settings including schools, rock climbing facilities, aquatic environments, and outpatient-based therapies. She has worked with a variety of children from all walks of life and with different disabilities including ADHD, sensory processing disorders, autism, fine and visual motor delays, trauma, and anxiety. In 2022, Sofie expanded her expertise by becoming a full spectrum Doula, supporting birthing individuals and their families along their journey into parenthood. On weekends, Sofie enjoys hiking, kayaking, knitting, lifting, and simply enjoying quality time with her husband and two dogs, Loki and Luna.

Bethany McWilliams completed her undergraduate degree in Recreation Management and Environmental Education in 2011 from Western Washington University. Bethany spent ten years working as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist before returning to school in Vancouver, BC to complete her Master of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of British Columbia. Her varied past experience as a recreational therapist includes providing inclusive, experiential, trauma-informed and adaptive recreational opportunities to children with disabilities and adolescent girls with mental health disorders. During this time Bethany also had the pleasure of working with a company called Tumbl Trak to develop a therapeutic line of sensory motor equipment that promotes skill development through play. Bethany’s expertise extends across a diverse range of therapeutic settings, emphasizing pediatric and neurological care, assistive technology, and community mental health. Since graduating from UBC, Bethany has worked in outpatient therapy where she strove to provide neurodiversity affirming care to children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and sensory processing differences. She has a special interest in visual processing and developmental coordination disorders, concussion, and printing. Bethany is a calm and grounded clinician with a warm demeanor who focuses on cultivating connection with her clients and providing them with an island of safety in a chaotic world. Bethany has a strong understanding of the importance of integrating joyful leisure and play-based experiences into children’s lives and has a passion for utilizing the connective and regulating natural environment to support children’s development. Outside of work Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband mountain biking, tromping around forests/beaches looking for mushrooms, wildflowers, and ducks, swimming in the Hood Canal, camping, and attempting to garden.

Emiko Goka-Dubose, PhD, LPC
Emiko received her master’s in counseling in Clinical Mental health with specialization working with children and families from Portland State University and her doctorate degree in counseling from Oregon State University. Emiko relocated to Bend, OR to work as a Faculty Research Assistant at OSU-Cascades, focusing on applied research on interventions for individuals working with preschool-aged children and families impacted by trauma. Her current research is focused on the use of culture to strengthen the sense of self and resilience among marginalized
populations. Emiko specializes in providing trauma-informed individual and family counseling for children and
families experiencing adversity. She uses Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and evidence-based attachment therapy which focuses on strengthening the child-caregiver bond for children 0-5, and Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) for older children and adolescence. Expressive Arts Trauma-Informed Therapy (EXAT) within sessions as well. Emiko has over two decades of direct service working with under-served families and children impacted by trauma. Growing up with a sibling with a physical disability, Emiko has personal experience of the challenges of coordinated therapeutic care for all member of families with children with disabilities. Emiko is passionate in working towards reducing barriers and increasing access to behavioral health services. Always a kid at heart, Emiko can be found playing outdoors throughout all the seasons of the year and making messes in experimentation with different expressive arts activities. She also enjoys cooking for friends and family and perennially attempting to master the art of baking bread.
Emiko received her master’s in counseling in Clinical Mental health with specialization working with children and families from Portland State University and her doctorate degree in counseling from Oregon State University. Emiko relocated to Bend, OR to work as a Faculty Research Assistant at OSU-Cascades, focusing on applied research on interventions for individuals working with preschool-aged children and families impacted by trauma. Her current research is focused on the use of culture to strengthen the sense of self and resilience among marginalized
populations. Emiko specializes in providing trauma-informed individual and family counseling for children and
families experiencing adversity. She uses Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and evidence-based attachment therapy which focuses on strengthening the child-caregiver bond for children 0-5, and Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC) for older children and adolescence. Krysta Ivens, PCA
Krysta is originally from the PNW and completed an undergraduate degree in counseling before moving to Ohio University to complete a Masters in clinical mental health counseling with added courses in clinical rehabilitation counseling. Since graduating, Krysta returned to her PNW roots and has experience in therapeutic boarding schools, short term residential programs, as well as pediatric outpatient care. Krysta believes that each child has the capabilities to be successful when given the opportunity and follow a strength based approach emphasizing the value and ability of all children to progress toward optimum mental health. We recognize each student and family is unique, and I strive to meet their distinctive developmental needs via cognitive behavioral, social learning, family systems, attachment, and solution focused approaches. She currently is co-developing and leading a BH/OT co-treatment program, ASPEN, with a focus on parent education and family relationships. When not working Krysta enjoys cooking, traveling, and taking her dog on adventures around Central Oregon.

Mary Goetz, MSW, LCSW
Mary is a relational mental health therapist who believes that a deeper understanding of ourselves helps us to connect more wholly to the world around us. Mary’s background is in trauma work, systems work (structural and family), TF-CBT, grief work, creative processing integration, and crisis prevention interventions. Mary utilizes multiple modalities such as narrative therapy, relational therapy, Internal Family Systems, and attachment work. She specializes in Developmental Repair, which focuses on joining individuals in their feelings underneath behaviors and enhances clients’ understanding of their internal and external processes through narration. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from CUNY Hunter College, Silberman School of Social Work in New York and is currently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Oregon and Minnesota. Mary has worked with youth, families, and adults in a variety of settings, both outpatient and higher levels of care, for the last 10 years. Additionally, Mary received her Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Psychology from Dominican University of California. She works to incorporate creative approaches through movement and art in treatment processes. Mary is currently becoming certified as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist; she aims to encourage psychosomatic awareness and healing, and looks forward to incorporating this knowledge into future treatment processes once fully certified. Kady Stafford received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Counseling from Boise State University. She has been working as a school counselor for the past 6 years at both middle and high school levels. She has a passion for working with teens, adolescents and children. Kady believes that every individual has the ability to grow, move forward and reach their full potential. In her practice she strives to nurture and develop a relationship that encourages people to share or discover their truest self. Her work is rooted in Person Centered theory and can include strategies or techniques from other orientations such as Dialectic Behavior Therapy.
