Julie was raised in Virginia and moved west for college, graduating from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After six years in Arizona, she and her husband relocated to Central Oregon where they raised their five children. After their twins were born, she found exercise to be a great way to maintain mental and physical health. This led to an interest in the science of exercise and the connection between mental health and the care we give our bodies. She taught group fitness classes for nine years before joining a local physical therapy clinic full time as an Office Coordinator.
After three years, she jumped at the opportunity to be part of the mission of Treehouse Therapies, serving children and families in Central Oregon. As the Insurance Authorization Specialist, she works with insurance companies to advocate on behalf of our patients and our therapists. In her spare time, she loves paddleboarding, hiking, spending time at the lake, and cross country skiing, especially when her family is with her.
