Zoe REmillard, MOTR/L

Picture
Zoe earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. She grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and has delighted in working with children for years, both as an undergraduate research assistant majoring in linguistics at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and as a full-time childcare provider to infants and toddlers. She became interested in pediatric occupational therapy after caring for a 1-year-old with developmental delays. While observing this little one's in-home early intervention therapy sessions, she was able to see firsthand how play-based therapy can drastically improve day-to-day life for both children and their families. She has considerable experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing difficulties, and feeding and oral motor concerns, and is a strong advocate for an inclusive and family-centered approach to therapy.

In her free time, Zoe enjoys swimming, hiking, playing guitar and violin, and reading good books.
