JEnnifer NAnce, OTR/L
Jennifer’s love of serving children and families experiencing special needs grew from growing up in a family with a sister who has cerebral palsy. Observing and being a part of her sister’s therapy sessions, and creating ways for her sister to be involved and have fun in daily life, gave her a passion to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Washington, so she could pursue a career in helping children with special needs and their families. Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings serving children and families, including hospitals, early intervention, preschool through high school in school districts, and client’s homes. Jennifer has completed continuing education courses on sensory processing, handwriting, feeding, NDT, and motor development. She loves to play and feels therapy should be fun for kids, while working toward the goals the family has for reaching kids’ full potential. At home, Jennifer enjoys time with her four kids and husband, playing outdoors and is always up for any card or board game.
