Jeannie Campbell, MDiv, LMFT |

Jeannie graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and her masters degree in psychology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She married a Coast Guardsmen from Texas, and they migrated to Eureka, CA, where Jeannie served as the clinical director for two different non-profit agencies serving children.
She specializes in the clinical treatment of children birth to age 5, but is equally comfortable with adolescents of all ages. She prefers to focus on the crucial early childhood years because the brain is growing in leaps and bounds during that time, and big changes can be affected in relatively small timeframes with consistency, coaching and trust.
Jeannie is a Certified Theraplay® Practitioner, an evidenced-based attachment model that focuses on the relationship between the parent(s) and child to enact the biggest change in the life of both the child and the family system. She is also certified in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and is currently getting her certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
In her spare time, she runs an online therapy service for fictional characters called The Character Therapist where she professionally edits novels with psychological components and helps authors with character development. She enjoys writing, reading, singing, and playing the piano when she’s not spending time with her husband and daughter. They like to raft as a family and Jeannie likes to trail run and explore different parts of Bend, the new city she calls home as of June 2019.
