Emily Sitler, OTD, OTR/L
Emily Sitler received her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Washington and Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Pacific University. She has a passion for culture and building community, and was able to complete her fieldwork education in pediatrics in a hospital in South Africa. Emily has been working in an acute care hospital setting and a skilled nursing facility, loving to watch clients gain independence in therapy through a strengths-based approach, regardless of age or diagnosis. Emily’s passion for wanting to work with children in her career stems from growing up volunteering in schools in California and abroad in Denmark, and working as a program director at a camp in Alaska. She is excited to join the Treehouse team as an adventurously expectant OT!
Emily just moved to Bend in July 2022 and she loves all that Central Oregon has to offer. In her free time Emily enjoys trail running, backpacking, backcountry skiing, mountaineering, mountain biking, and training for triathlons. You can usually find her on a trail with her dog!
